Keep Leave Without Pay Optional!

Hennepin County is suggesting employees take leave without wages to balance the budget in 2025. While they continue to pay extravagant salaries to their administrators and commissioners, the suggestion went out to workers to forgo labor for pay to protect the county from federal budget cuts that have yet to reach county level workers. Workers should not be asked to take on the county's financial burden without guarantees!
